TeamStephen F. Meyer Mr. Meyer started Parkwood Business Properties in 1975. Prior to that he was Vice-President/General Manager of the Clare Pendar Division of General Instrument Corporation, and Senior Vice-President for Engineering and Manufacturing for American Sign and Indicator Corporation. In 1979 he was a founder of Advanced Input Devices and served as the Chairman of the Board through 1993 when it was sold to BancBoston and Credit Suisse. Currently he serves on the Board of the North Idaho College Foundation and the Board of Directors of Mountain West Bank. Mr. Meyer is involved with small venture capital investing and the management and ownership of Parkwood Business Properties. Mr. Meyer earned a BS degree from the University of Idaho, and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Charlie R. Nipp Charlie Nipp is an owner and manager of Parkwood Business Properties, a real estate development company located in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, USA, which specializes in the development and ownership of medical office buildings, business office parks, light industrial facilities and major retail centers. He graduated from Whitworth College with a degree in Business, and received his Masters Degree from Portland State University. Mr. Nipp has been very active in a variety of civic organizations in the State of Idaho and the Pacific Northwest. He is Past President of the Kootenai Medical Center Foundation, Past President of the Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, Chamber of Commerce, Past Chairman of the Board of Jobs Plus, an Idaho Economic Development Corporation, and Past Chairman of the Coeur d’Alene Area Urban Renewal Agency. Mr. Nipp is a former director of Bank of America, Idaho Youth Endowment Foundation, Life Center Northwest Donor Network based in Seattle, Washington, and Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture located in Spokane, Washington. He is currently the Chairman of the Board of Mountain West Bank, with offices in Washington, Idaho, and Utah, and a Director for Inland Northwest Community Foundation. Mr. Nipp has received numerous awards including induction into the State of Idaho Hall of Fame in 2001 and Citizen of the Year in 2000 for the Coeur d’Alene Chamber of Commerce. Ryan Nipp Ryan joined Parkwood Business Properties in 2002 and is a portfolio asset manager and new project developer. Prior to Parkwood, Ryan spent five years with Prudential Mortgage Capital Company in Atlanta, GA, where he was involved in commercial loan originations and mortgage asset management. Ryan helped originate over $300mm in commercial loans with the Southeast Region team including property types of office, industrial, retail, and apartments. Since moving back to Coeur d’Alene in 2002, Ryan has participated in several community organizations including his role as past chair of the EXCEL Foundation, a Coeur d’Alene non-profit organization that provides grants to area schools. He is the current chair-elect of the Coeur d’Alene Chamber of Commerce. Ryan is a graduate of Georgetown University with a major in finance. Chris Meyer Chris re-joined Parkwood in 2010 as a portfolio asset manager and new project developer. Previously he worked for Parkwood from 1997 to 2003 as a project manager, overseeing the development and rehabilitation of over 400,000sf of Class A office, industrial and retail space. Prior to re-joining Parkwood, Chris worked as a Development Manager for Legacy Partners Residential in Seattle where he developed the $75mm Legacy at Pratt Park urban mixed-use luxury apartment project with 248 units and 6,500sf of street level retail. Chris has an undergraduate degree in Environmental Science from the University of Pennsylvania, an MBA from the Foster School of Business at the University of Washington and a Masters in Urban Planning from the School of Architecture and Urban Planning at the University of Washington. Jim Valle Jim Valle manages the leasing and marketing for Parkwood’s multi-tenant office portfolio. Jim joined the Parkwood team in 2002 as a member of the facilities crew and quickly transitioned into his current leasing and marketing role in 2004. Prior to Parkwood Jim graduated from West Virginia University with a degree in Marketing and honed his customer service abilities during 5 years in the outdoor recreation industry. Jim’s unique combination of customer service skills, facilities experience, and marketing flair make him a key member of our leasing and management team. Steve Kunas Steve joined Parkwood in 1998 and is responsible for all of our facility maintenance needs. Steve manages a Parkwood maintenance team that has over 70 years of collective experience. Steve has been involved in commercial maintenance and related trades for 22 years and has attended both plumbing and HVAC trade schools. Prior to joining Parkwood, Steve had a twelve year position with a commercial maintenance organization in Portland, Oregon. Peggy Leonard Peggy manages a team that is responsible for all of the administrative, accounting, and personnel functions. She and her staff bring over 60 years of combined experience to Parkwood. Peggy graduated from North Idaho College and joined Parkwood in 1989 after 7 years at a national electronics firm in Spokane, WA. AJ Jones AJ joined Budget Storage in September, 1999. AJ started in a part-time position with Budget Storage and was promoted to Manager in February of 2001. She is responsible for all facets of operation of the self-storage facility on Franklin St. and the facility on Hwy. 95 and Lacey. Prior to Budget Storage, AJ lived in Las Vegas, NV and was in inventory control for Levi Strauss. |
